The root of a dental implant is called an abutment and is made of a biocompatible metal known as 'titanium' - which is very strong and is accepted by your body like no other metal.

Jeevan graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2012 and became a director at Hallcross in 2017; he holds ethical practice and high quality dentistry as his core values.
Since graduating he has gained membership into the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He has also completed a post graduate certificate in Restorative and Aesthetic dentistry at the prestigious Tipton academy.
Jeevan was awarded a Gold award in implantology by a Global key opinion leader in the field of implants, Professor Göran Urde – Stockholm. He went on to complete his Masters degree in implant dentistry after writing his Thesis on immediate implant placement.
